Our history begins in 1963, when Don José Osorio Martínez founded the company OSORIO MAQUINARIA in the city of Albacete, center of the Spanish cutlery industry. This family business dedicated itself for years to the manufacture of industrial machines for the knife sector, from knife sharpening machines to grinding and polishing machines.

Later, his son José Osorio Rodríguez continued to develop the business and gave it his own focus on both design and manufacturing execution. Our machines then began to be sold in different countries and the presence of our TEMECA brand became more relevant in a sector, that of knife industry, in which tradition and innovation still coexist.

Today, José Osorio and sons continue to manufacture machines for two different, but closely related worlds:

• Professional sharpening: especially aimed at the meat, food and HORECA industries.
• Knife industry, manufacturing of scissors and other tools: covering all production processes with grinding machines, hollow grinding machines, contour grinding machines, polishing machines, granton edge machines, serration machines, handle milling machines, etc.

In 1975, we started to export our brand, TEMECA, to a large number of countries around the world. Day by day, we focus on innovating our technology, committed to live up to our clients’ expectations and exceed them if possible.
